BATCH • EXACT KB TARGET • 100% LOCAL
Credit where it's due: Squoosh is excellent, and like this tool it compresses locally in your browser — no uploads. The difference is workflow. Squoosh handles one image at a time with manual quality sliders, which gets tedious when you have a folder of photos or a form that demands "under 100KB".
This compressor keeps the same local, private approach but adds the two things Squoosh leaves out: batch compression (up to 10 images at once, ZIP download included) and an exact KB target mode that auto-tunes quality until each file lands under your limit. It also lives alongside a background remover, object eraser and passport-photo maker — one tab for the whole job.
No account, no credits, no trial. Open it and go — full-resolution downloads are free.
Your image is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to a server.
It runs in your browser, so it keeps working in airplane mode after the first load.

Yes — Squoosh is a great tool and, like this one, it processes images on your device. If you're happy tuning one image at a time, keep using it. This alternative is for when you want batch processing, an exact KB target, or both.
Instead of dragging a quality slider and checking the size, you type the limit — say 100KB — and the tool binary-searches the encoder quality until the output lands at or just under it. There are also ready-made pages for 20KB through 1MB targets.
Yes, up to 10 per batch, with individual downloads or a single ZIP. Squoosh is deliberately single-image; batching is the main reason people switch.
JPEG and WebP output (JPG, PNG and WebP input). Squoosh offers more exotic codecs like AVIF and JPEG XL — if you specifically need those formats for web-dev work, Squoosh remains the right choice.
